Iron Mills Farmstead Weddings
Allison+Matt chose to have their wedding ceremony and reception in the most beautiful and elegant barn, located in New Wilmington, PA. This space is not your typical barn venue. It is located in the countryside of western Pennsylvania sitting on a beautiful property with multiple smaller barns, unlimited trees, plants, and flowers, plus the most amazing fire pit for the end of the night celebrations. The Scotts wedding day was absolutely amazing regardless of COVID-19 the people behind the scenes made everything happen exactly how Allison and Matt envisioned it.

The Details
Soft pinks and dark greenery with a hint of gold created the most elegant and natural decor to the wedding look. With so many cute details from Allison's jean jacket to her "Mrs Scott" purse and ring box, every element was so special and added so much more to their special day.
Getting Ready
The girls got ready in the cutest little space provided by Iron Mills specifically for the bridal party to begin their day. The girls began getting ready with mimosas, snacks, and getting their makeup and hair curled. Each bridesmaid had a touch of eucalyptus greenery in their hair, again adding such a simple yet elegant touch bringing everything together. Allison was gleaming all morning and her girls are the main reason for that bringing tons of laughter and love to the most perfect morning.
The final touches
Allison's wonderful mother helped her put on her dress and strap her shoes. It was such a special moment and always one of my favorites to capture. After she finished, Allison stepped outside for her bridesmaids to get their first look at their beautiful best friend.
Getting Ready
As the girls started early in the morning, the men eventually followed by celebrating in a hotel not too far from their venue. Matt had some of his closest friends and family along his side during the day. It was fun to see them scatter around and figure out what goes where and how this goes on here. It is always such a different experience going from the girls to the boys. All in all, the boys ended up looking dapper and put together for the evening.
The first look
These two love birds decided to do a "First Look" and it ended up being so sweet to capture. Along the fence posts, Allison walked up to Matt smiling from ear to ear, excited to see soon to be husband. Matt was so happy to turn around and see his beautiful bride smiling back at him. They hugged, kissed, and giggled with teary eyes. This was such a special moment that I am sure these two will never forget.
The bridal party
The scenery, the colors, THE PEOPLE! This bridal party sure did set the bar high for being so wonderful to work with. You can definitely tell that these two are surrounded by so much love and laughter with the amazing people they call friends and family.
The ceremony
This ceremony space was so incredible and every detail, again was spot on to creating the most amazing outdoor setting. From the signs to the garland and chandelier, it was breathtaking. My favorite part of their ceremony was the tree they planted by adding soil and water together. To symbolize their love and the growth of it to come in future days. I thought this was a very loving concept and wonderful way to symbolize the beginning of a beautiful love.
Just the two of us
The portraits of the bride+groom, my absolute favorite part of the wedding day is spending time with the newly weds. Photographing Allison and Matt has been to easy because they are such positive and happy people to be around. Capturing the love between these two has been so fun for me and I have enjoyed hanging out with them every time. You can see the love gleaming through in every photo of these two.
Allison's gift to Matt was so sweet and thoughtful, I had to mention that small detail because I just knew how special it meant to Matt.
The Reception
From the dancing to the sparklers, to the camp fire with s'mores, the night ended with so much fun, laughter, and joy. I am so glad that everything worked out for The Scotts and they were able to have their wedding day during all the chaos. These two have so much love to share and I am so thankful I was able to capture such a special day for them. Here is to a year full of laughter and positivity no matter what is going on in the world, remember to hold onto each other and never let go!
