Introducing the Coolest Pup on the Block, Finley
Macy and Kayla married this past September and started their amazing lives together in Columbus. Prior to getting married they lived together for a few years in a beautiful home that was the perfect size for a puppy and future children. Macy, being my best friend for years, has always loved dogs so I knew that this day would come when they would bring home a puppy. Kayla also loves dogs AND also loves cats! Which if you know me, I have Palmer, my fluffy siamese mix whom I love so much. So as a fellow cat lover, (side note, I am a ALL ANIMAL LOVER) I was thrilled to have another in my court. Over the past year or so I know Kayla has tried to somewhat convince Macy to get a cat and there was no way that was happening because cats are not her thing. Macy with a cat, just does not go together!
When they were both ready the search began. They found Finley in Rock Island, Illinois at the county animal shelter. Kayla's sister, Emily, works there and had been on the lookout for that perfect new addition to Kayla and Macy's family. When a litter of puppies came in Emily instantly sent photos to Kayla of Finley and all her adorable siblings. They instantly knew Fin was the one after a few of Kayla's family members spent time with each of them, eventually falling in love with her. Kayla and Macy both decided from there that she was the one, so Kayla drove 7 hours to Illinois to pick their new baby up!
In the end these two newly weds waited for the right time and the right pup before making the commitment and I am so happy they asked me to capture some quick moments with their new sweet girl, Finley.
